RADIOSCAPHOLUNATE (RSL) FUSION ON SECONDARY OA WRIST WITH NEGLECTED DISLOCATION RADIOCARPAL JOINT AND CONTRACTURE DUE TO ENTRAPMENT OF SUPERFICIAL FLEXOR TENDON INDEX FINGER OF LEFT HAND

ABSTRACT
 
 Background: When pain, deformity and instability compromise wrist function, stabilization by means of fusion is a procedure recognized validity. The goal arthrodesis to provide the patient with stable for power grip predictable relief pain while sacrificing motion. radioscapholunate (RSL) one salvage indicated in case traumatic or degenerative osteoarthritis radiocarpal joint, involving lunate facet radius. RSL-fusion reduced total motion (3 MC/Rad) F/E axis an average 49% unfused but preserves midcarpal joint alleviating pain.
 Case Report: We report 43-year-old male on his left wrist. 10 months before admission, he felt down from stairs hand bear body weight. He broke got surgery at that time. Because still feel index finger can’t fully extensed, brought Soeharso orthopaedic hospital. Here, we have done using cross pinning K-Wire reduce distal scapoid excision optimizing radial angulation release superficial flexor tendon hand.
 Discussion: With Secondary OA post neglected dislocation contracture due entrapment RSL-fusion, can improve range movement.
 Conclusion: Radioscapholunate strength minimizing eliminating pain
